KIPLING, Rudyard: (1865-1936) - Two-page typed letter, signed with notations, from Bateman's, dated Nov. 20/27, to Mrs Sanders. He discusses his recent trip to France ... "Vichy-the dullest spot on Earth". He comments on the wet weather, and is very relieved that foot and mouth, which has reached as far as the New Forest, hasn't affected his animals yet.
