 David des Grandes (FS21/321)

This 17th century miniature (FS21/321) painted by David des Grandes for the Royalists supporters of The Throne shows the young prince wearing a blue sash and The Order of The Garter. The miniature, which is one of a private collection of 11 miniatures, has an estimate of £2,000-£3,000.

From a different collection of miniatures is this charming 19th century example of a girl called Beatrice holding a pink rose (FS21/326).
