Review Entries for Day Tuesday, April 16, 2013

The potential star of the Picture Section in our Fine picture Auction sale on 24th April 2013 is an oil painting by Paul Feiler of a Cornish Harbour (FS18/400) estimated at £30,000-£50,000.

It is one of two paintings by Paul Feiler in the fine painting auction, the other being titled Portheras Blue (FS18/401).

Portheras is a secluded beach on the Cornish coast close to St Ives and the painting is estimated at £10,000-£15,000.

These paintings by Paul Feiler give the sale a nice symmetry with a collection of work in the sale by Peter Thursby (FS18/410, FS18/411, FS18/412, FS18/413) who was a student of Feiler at the West of England College of Art in the 1950s.
